Bonafide certificate format, free

What you get

• Your school name, affiliation line, address, phone and email as the header.
• Blank lines for the certificate number and date.
• The standard wording: the student's name, parent's name, class, section and academic year, each as a blank.
• A line for the date of birth as per school records, and one for the purpose of the certificate.
• A line for the principal's signature and a box for the school seal.

This is a format. The tool does not fill in a student's details or sign anything. The school fills it in by hand and the principal signs it.

How to use it

1. Fill in the school name and the other header lines you want.
2. Press the button, then print the sheet or save it as a PDF from your browser.
3. Fill in the student's details by hand, then sign and stamp it.

Is the bonafide certificate format free?

Yes. There is no sign-up and no email needed.

What is a bonafide certificate?

A letter from the school saying a child is a student there, in a given class and year. Parents ask for it for a scholarship, a bank account, a passport or a bus pass.

Does it fill in the student's name?

No. It gives the format with blanks. The school fills them in and the principal signs and stamps it.

Can I save it as a PDF?

Yes. Press the print button and choose Save as PDF in your browser. The paper is A4.
